First as Maleson Advertising and later as Maleson & Naylor, Howard Maleson headed one of the leading advertising agencies in Maryland for more than 20 years. He served local, regional and national clients including Goldwell Cosmetics, Mash’s Hams, Mammoth Golf, Michael Fox Auctioneers, Len Stoler Automotive, Esskay, Steger’s Eggs, The Optical Center, Hauswald’s Bread, Mary Sue Candies, Fradkin Bros., WBAL-TV, and Sinai Fitness.

Jon Hyman, Creative Director
Jon Hyman cut his creative teeth at VanSant Dugdale(now Gray, Kirk, VanSant) and W.B. Doner, major national advertising firms. Later, he was a partner and creative director at Shapiro, Hyman & Freeman. More recently, his Jon Hyman Marketing Resources, provided creative, marketing and media services to a wide range of clients. He has worked on such accounts as Westinghouse Defense, Maryland National Bank, SYSCON(defense software systems), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Micros(hospitality systems), Sport & Health Clubs, Commercial Credit, Rouse Company, McCormick & Co., Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Md., Sweatheart Cup Corp., 1st Mariner Bank, Checkered Flag Automotive, Vision Associates, Holmes Products and Sterling Optical.

Gene Suliga, Co-Creative Director
A true “Renaissance Marketer” Mr. Suliga has years of experience providing leadership for such clients as Merchantile Bank and Smyth Jewelers. His design work is memorable, powerful and provides a synergy of many diverse pieces speaking in one clear voice. Before coming to The Breakthrough Group, Gene was Director of Marketing for The Strata Group from 2006-2007.
From 1977 to 2005 he was founding partner, Executive VP/Senior Creative Director for Noble Steed Associates, a well-known and well-regarded Mid-Atlantic marketing company.
